    • [ ] Would I stop to read this post? Would it catch my attention?

  • [ ] Is the post engaging, entertaining, educational or inspiring?
  • [ ] Does it sound like something you’d say?
  • [ ] Are you using words you wouldn’t use in your speech? → Rewrite in a more conversational way
  • [ ] Are you using words that could be misunderstood / niche language? → Simplify
  • [ ] Is there a way to shorten the text further, i.e. say the same thing in less words? → Shorten
  • [ ] Do I notice any spelling mistakes? → Fix (suggest using Grammarly)
  • [ ] Did I ask people to take action at the end of the post? → If not, add a CTA (Call-to-Action)

• [ ] Did I tag people / companies correctly?

  P.S. always better to tag other accounts for better reach rather than not tag anyone, if possible

• [ ] Is the formatting good?

  • [ ] No blocks of text
  • [ ] Use LinkedIn Post formatter by Taplio if you want to add bold / italic elements for easier readability
  • [ ] Are there inconsistencies? (example: sometimes line break after heading, other no line break)

• [ ] Check the visual for typos and alignment of elements

  • [ ] Is the visual eye-catching?
  • [ ] Would this visual catch my attention?
  • [ ] Is the text on the visual intriguing? (If there is text)

• [ ] Did I add hashtags?

• [ ] You can hit publish now, but there are 3 more things to do:

• Give ChatGPT as much context about you, your tone, example content, background, and target audience as possible
• Give ChatGPT an example piece of your content and ask it to analyse the tone. Then, in the next message, ask it to write in that style and tone.
• Give ChatGPT an example post you like. Ask it to “templatize it”. In the next message, give it a new topic and some bullet points and ask it to fill out the template.
